Flat Pack Wardrobe FAQs
Yes. These wardrobes are supplied as a flat pack product. This means Fine Earth Joinery manufactures and supplies the wardrobe components, but does not include assembly or installation as part of the standard flat pack price.
Flat pack wardrobes are more affordable because the pricing does not include Fine Earth Joinery’s labour for assembly, installation, site work, or custom fitting. The product is supplied, at a discounted rate, ready for assembly by you, your builder, carpenter, or installer.
No. Installation is not included in the flat pack wardrobe price. The flat pack rate applies to supply only. If you require Fine Earth Joinery to assist with assembly or installation, this becomes a separate service and will be quoted at our standard labour rates and there is no flat pack discount.
In some cases, yes, but this would be an additional cost overall. Once Fine Earth is involved in assembly, installation, site work, or custom fitting, the job is no longer treated as a flat pack wardrobe order. Labour hours and any additional project requirements will be charged at Fine Earth Joinery’s standard rates.
Yes. We can organise delivery as an additional item. Delivery is not included in the standard flat pack wardrobe price and will be quoted separately based on the order size, location, and delivery requirements.
Yes, where practical, collection may be available by arrangement. We can confirm collection options once your order details are known.
These wardrobes are not fully custom joinery in the traditional sense. They are a flat pack wardrobe system with set components, options, and configurations, which allows the pricing to remain more cost effective than a fully custom designed, built, and installed joinery package. However, the wardrobe system itself is custom to Fine Earth Joinery, designed around our preferred approach to layout, functionality, quality, and finish.
If you can provide clear and accurate dimensions, we can manufacture the flat pack wardrobe components to suit those measurements. This is still treated as a flat pack wardrobe order, as long as it fits within our standard system, options, and configurations.
It only moves outside the flat pack pricing model if Fine Earth Joinery needs to attend site to measure, resolve site specific issues, create a more custom design, or provide additional joinery work beyond the standard wardrobe system. In those cases, the work will be quoted separately at Fine Earth Joinery’s standard custom joinery rates.
The wardrobes should be assembled by someone confident with flat pack installation, such as a builder, carpenter, installer, or capable homeowner. If you are unsure, we recommend engaging a qualified installer.
If you would like Fine Earth Joinery to handle the assembly or installation, this can be quoted separately. In this case, the project is no longer treated as a flat pack wardrobe order, and all assembly, installation, site work, and related labour will be quoted at Fine Earth Joinery’s standard rates.

Yes. Homeowners can order flat pack wardrobes directly, but they should be aware that assembly and installation are not included in the flat pack price. You can install them yourself, organise your own installer, or ask us to quote installation separately.
You will usually need to provide the width, height, and depth of the space, along with photos and any details that may affect the wardrobe layout, such as skirting boards, cornices, power points, windows, doors, or uneven walls. Accurate measurements are important because the flat pack price does not include site measuring or custom fitting unless quoted separately.
